QIC officials visit the elderly at Ihsan & Al Rumailah this Ramadan

Senior officials of Qatar Insurance Group, the largest insurer in the Middle East paid a visit to the elderly at Ihsan – Centre of Empowerment and Care Elderly and Al Rumailah hospital to cheer and uplift their spirits. As a token of appreciation for their achievements, the elderly were handed over LED lamps with in-built Quran speakers.

Commenting on this initiative, Senior Deputy Group President & CEO of QIC Group, Mr. Ali Al Fadala said, “Ramadan is the time for doing good deeds. To mark this season of generosity and as a significant step towards fulfilling our Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR), we were delighted to organize a visit to the elderly to acknowledge them for their unique contribution to the society at large.”

He elaborated, “As a leading national insurer, we take pride in supporting Qatari tradition that forms an integral part of our heritage and culture. The holy month of Ramadan is a special time of the year and we feel blessed to spread this joy with everyone.”

Speaking at the event, Mr. Mohamed Al Nasf from Ihsan said, “We would like to thank QIC for this kind gesture and for spending a few precious moments with the elderly. It was indeed very heartwarming for them to receive such thoughtful gifts during the holy month of Ramadan.”

Mr. Ali Al Khater, Chief Communications Officer at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) stated, “We extend our sincere gratitude to QIC for paying a visit and distributing LED lamps with in-built speakers to our patients. It demonstrates QIC’s commitment and concern for the welfare of the entire community.”

Neatly packaged, the LED lamp with full recitation of The Noble Quran can be used with a remote control to select Quranic audio and listen to the verses of the Quran.
