QIC spearheads digital transformation by integrating WhatsApp Business
Qatar Insurance, the leading flagship insurer is the first in the MENA region to integrate WhatsApp Business for communications, taking customer communications to a completely new level of engagement. Through this integration, QIC aims at building stronger connection with customers, making communications easier, swifter, and more personalized. Qatar Insurance in collaboration with Infobip have successfully rolled out the integration of WhatsApp Business with its homegrown IT platform Anoud, marking yet another milestone in its journey towards process automation and digitalization. The integration facilitates the insurer to leverage key features of WhatsApp Business, namely, its popularity, ability to support multimedia communications through transfer of files such as photos, documents etc. while hosting real time B2C conversations.
Going forward, QIC will continue to use WhatsApp Business as a key customer communication channel to enhance ways of engaging with customers and enriching overall customer experience. Simultaneously, the App will be used for marketing QIC’s retail product offerings and services. Customers can now send a WhatsApp message to 50000742 for any queries related to QIC’s insurance products and services. It can even facilitate in filing a motor claim after an accident.
QIC WhatsApp profile displays a green badge that ensures privacy through end-to-end encryption. This instills a sense of assurance, that all customer communication is safe and secure.
